hi,
notice : with new driver 1.0-8174 i need to add DisplaySize to the monitor section of xorg.conf (else my fonts are incorrectly sized-> README is useful ).
i dont need to add DisplaySize with earlier driver.

Hi,

nothing really spectalar with these drivers, but is this right? 4 months developing after summer holidays and this little changelog, now? Where is an X Setup? Where are the options for twinview and other nice features? A clockrate tool for Go mobile chips? - 6 months is an new GPU generation cycle in this market. When I would work so slow in my job, i would lost all my customers...

Coming onto a fresh install of SuSE 10.0 with the 8174 driver.. works great as usual. The addition of SLI makes me want to build a new system. Nice work fellas!

SLI Support, Fixes for Composite and RendeAccel, Speed improvements, Stability improvements. Those are some fairly significant items. I agree 4 months is a long release cycle but I wouldnt claim we didnt get much for it.

Lastly are you referring to a tool to adjust the clockrate for go chips? Similar to nvclock?

I'd say SLI support, which apparently works and performs well, is a pretty big deal.

Thanks a lot and hats off for the nvidia dev team!
Waiting was definitivly worth it, RenderAccel works again and this is the first time Composite-Extension works on my old GF-488Go chip.

Thanks a lot, I hope future driver releases will continue to be that great.

But.... What happened to the SMP support these drivers were suppose to have? Did Nvidia do such a good job distracting everyone with uber l33t shiny things on their gf7 series, that everyone forgot about this important feature?

Looking good, nice and stable just like 7676. Even got RenderAccel working stable.

I wouldn't say that considering windows has had sli support since it came out. I had 2 6800 GTOs and I couldnt use SLI under Linux and I was not happy.
