Yeah, the key to divebombing is to dive down sharply to your target, drop, then pull up immediately. Think of an upside-down parabola. Otherwise, there is the possibility of colliding with your bomb if you are still angled down sharply after you drop it.

Divebombing is a really good strategy when you have to bomb areas where there is lots of flak going off. Just cruise to max altitude, then start diving straight down a bit before your target. Its harder to get a bead on a target this way, but with practice, flak gunners will never have a chance.

Divebombing is really important in Desert Combat, about the only way to take out those damn Shilkas from the air!

I love the jeep, if you're engineer put a dinamite in it and drive to the enemy base then leave it there and hide and watch some n00bs get in and then blow em up... usualy followed by something like "WTF? You cheater I hate you!"

How do you guys fly a plane?

I play with mouse (inverted) and keyboard like everything else. Some people use a joystick, is it any easier?

When taking off, landing, flying and bombing I use the chase plane view. When dogfighting I switch to the in-****pit view.

I am curious to see how other people play because I have seen some people who are REALLY good with a plane.

I also play with a mouse..I suck at flying..But I do know that most of the people who can fly use a joystick..I just find it a hastle to switch back and forth..I might just give it a try though..
