hi
i wanted to ask, if anybody tested the stereo option of the new driver? (Check the README file in /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/) i tried it on a Quadro 4 700 XGL. But i think my glasses do not support the provided modes ? I have a I-visor HMD. It should support stereo by page flipping (PC Field). Is there anything equivalent to the "Consumer 3D stereo" driver on the Linux side? I think this driver supports Page Flipping mode. thanks for any help! Goose |

I've tested stereo modes 2 and 3 with a Quadro4 750 XGL. They both work fine, except that when the driver is set to stereo mode, our application runs much faster when displaying in stereo than in mono.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know why this would be happening? thanks, Craig |

This happens with many standard OpenGL applications using the Windows drivers, so it apparently has carried over into Linux. Hopefully it will get fixed soon...
