Default Enabling framebuffer on second nVidia (PCie)

Hello all,

I have a PCIe system with two nVidia graphic cards and an nForce4 main board. The "first" card is a 6600 running X11. I want to enable the second card to do framebuffer stuff from contents delivered by another application.

Now I cannot specify that card in BIOS (init display first), cos I have two PCIe cards and not one PCI and one PCIe...

It would also be fine to let the second card show the boot process that already uses vesafb (Bootsplash).

I am using Ubuntu Breezy, Kernel 2.6.12.
nvidiafb is there as a module, currently unused.

Any options I have? Thanks!

Timo
