Default opengl under 32 sarge chroot

I have a chroot setup on a 64bit sarge box with offcial amd64 drivers installed. Within the chroot I cant seem to get hardware acceleration working. I can only have software acceleration. Am using the pixel view 6600 with 256mb ram. Xfree86 with 2.6.8-11 debian amd64 specific kernel.

Is /dev/nvidia* accessible from within the chroot? What does "cant seem to get hardware acceleration working" mean exactly?

Please generate and post a bug report.

Thanks,
Lonni

Like I said it wont regcognise it. The glxinfo reports back sayinig no direct rending. I have added myself to the video group and I have mounted the /dev ( using --bind) of the 64bit part into the chroot.

The nvidia device drivers are within the /dev/ directory within the chroot. Though it did say when I installed the nvidia drivers it couldn't test if the 32bit opengl libraries where working properly. Is there a manual way I could use within my chroot or on the 64bit part
