I really want a 6800GS AGP, but I'm not going to buy the first one that comes out. I'll wait until XFX and other OCish manufactors start pushing theirs out.

NV40 has 16 pipes, so basically the 6800GS will be soft locked by the driver to its default 12, unlock those and you'll have a cheap 6800GT, moreover the mem OC chances on it will be much better than the stock GT.

Well, obviously.

The point I'm trying to make here is that nVidia decided to coin this 350/1000 AGP card as a 6800 GS.

This seems to be the official clock as well since people are starting to get these cards from XFX at the same speeds.

no it won't happen, because these "6800 GS" aren't actually a real 6800 GS, it's an NV40 gpu, not the real 6800 GS gpu, the nv42, so since there is no native AGP Gxx core, it won't happen, unless nvidia bridges it down with the HSI bridge, but so far, it's not in the making

AGP is dead, face it, a 6800 is the best AGP card nvidia will ever have
