Default Debian etch installation error

I'm STILL having problems installing the last Nvidia driver:

Using: nvidia-installer ncurses user interface
-> License accepted.
-> There appears to already be a driver installed on your system (version: 1.0-
7174). As part of installing this driver (version: 1.0-8178), the existing
driver will be uninstalled. Are you sure you want to continue? ('no' will a
bort installation) (Answer: Yes)
-> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you li
ke the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel f
rom the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)? (Answer: No)
-> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; this means
that the installer will need to compile a new kernel interface.
-> Performing CC test with CC="cc".
-> Using the kernel source path '/usr/src/linux-2.6.13.4/' as specified by the
'--kernel-source-path' commandline option.
ERROR: Unable to determine the version of the kernel sources located in
'/usr/src/linux-2.6.13.4/'. Please make sure you have installed the
kernel source files for your kernel and that they are properly
configured; on Red Hat Linux systems, for example, be sure you have the
'kernel-source' RPM installed. If you know the correct kernel source
files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with the
'--kernel-source-path' command line option.
ERROR: Installation has failed. Please see the file
'/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions
on fixing installation problems in the README available on the Linux
driver download page at www.nvidia.com.

I found a previous thread on this problem, but the patch seems to be already included in this version. Also the ''--kernel-source-path'' and IGNORE_CC_MISMATCH=1 options didn't help.

What can I do?

Marcel

Default Re: Debian etch installation error

Please attach the /var/log/nvidia-installer.log file generated without the --kernel-source-path command line option.
