I read some where that NVIDIA will start the development of a ALSA driver after the the OSS driver is finished.
As I own a shuttle sn41g2 and a ASUS A7N8X Deluxe I'm wodering what the status of this project is? I would like to have HW mixing and full duplex in ALSA on nForce2 as OSS is near death (http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/362725). |

It's probably more likely that the current ALSA drivers will have more hardware support. I even think that Nvidia is attributing to it atm.
