Nvidia mx440 problem in suse linux

Hello,

Im trying to get suse 10 to enable 3d support for my mx440 card, but for some reason it wont let me do it (when i select 'monitor and graphics' in the sax2 program it wont let me select 'enable 3d support).

Ive installed the newest drivers and everything, i even re-installed linux from scratch to try and get it to work!

Can anyone help me?

Yes,

and it mentions that i dont need to enable 3d support after installing the drivers, yet i still get error messages saying that 3d support is not on when i try to play 3d games.

Which games are you playing, and where are you seeing the message that 3D support is not on?

In the applications menu, under games, there is a selection of 2d/3d games. Any of the 3d ones display that messege, such as 'FooBilliard', under sports.

The exact warning says:

'No 3d card available or 3d support is not configured yet . However,
the application uses or requires 3d hardware support.'

I HAVE CONFIGURED it, so i cant see whats going on.

If so, I cannot reproduce the problem. Please generate and post a bug report along with the output from 'glxinfo'.
