Problems w/GeForce FX5500
I am stuck in the vgasave mode crap and every time I try to install the drivers for this card I get a message saying the driver is not compatible with XP, but I tested this card in my old machine that was running XP and it installed fine.
My motherboard is AGP 2.0 & 3.0 compatible. My screen also runs choppy when I scroll a page or move a window. |

Have you tried installing under safemode?

right click on the nvidia installer and go to properties, compabilities, and run it as another OS, and aslo make sure you have that xp driver
