Yay - finally got my 2407FPW (Rev A03). I ran Deal Pixel Buddy and have yet to find a bad pixel so that is nice. My current computer does not have enough power to run Oblivion at the moment but Far Cry looked fantastic at 1920x1200.

I did turn my brightness down to near 30 though as the factory default seemed a bit high. In about 2 1/2 weeks I will order my new PC so I can't wait to play Oblivion on this sucker.

Viewsonic Three New 5ms LCDs
Viewsonic today announced a number of new LCD displays that target the sweet-spot 19-inch to 23-inch market, and all of them at very affordable prices. New to the scene is Viewsonic's VX1935wm, VX2035vm and VX223vm, ranging from 19-inches, 20-inches and 22-inches respectively. The screens are targetting at gaming and video users but Viewsonic says business uesrs can also benefit from all three screen's 5 milliseconds response time.

Fast response times seem to be the primary focus for many of today's leading LCD manufacturers. More and more consumers are purchasing LCDs for movie watching, game playing as well as typical office work. All three displays from Viewsonic are available in gray or black and are priced at $199, $349 and $399 respectively

The above is by DailyTech and read more there

PS Looks to me the LCD displays prices are comming down almost daily

Having had my 37W3 now since they first became available, many months ago, I can state comfortably that it is by far the best display I have EVER used with a PC. It is absolutely awesome for watching movies, basic surfing/DTP, and gaming. If you are into serious CAD or DTP you might want a higher resolution but for everything else - this display ROX.

Westy LVM-37w3 Finally For Canadian buyers
Crutchfield moved to Canada Nov.15 this year. First with Sony and Sharp only, few days later they listed the Westy ETA
Dec. 8. Today the Westy LVM-37w3 is listed in stock.
I had mine on backorder and it's being delivered tomorrow morning.

The price is competitive with lower US prices 1,200 CAD (about 1,044 USD), Free Shipping, "white glove" delivery
All Canadian orders ship from Mississauga, Ontario. Crutchfield Canada

NOTE: This is the first time the Westy LVM-37w3 is for sale in Canada, BestBuy Canada only sells the older
LVM-37w1 model and for $300 more.
