Oh, I thought you were complaining about the 60px black bars on top and bottom of the 1080px video. So it actually stetches the 360 output to be 1920x1200?

I posted this in the show your rig thread, but here it fits...

Viewsonic 2025VB or sumthin like that. 20 inch monitor. Its all right, but there is a huge problem with the DVI sensory system. Whenever you unplug a cable from the monitor, it just stays on standby unless you clear the battery. Would not recommend this monitor, about to get a dell 24 or 30 inch.

As for the HP L3065 I'd love to hear a few more words about it since you've seen it up close.
Thanks, Foti! Although the price for the NEC is suggested price, you can find it online from 1220 Euros. For Greece, I don't know, propably in the region of1500+. The specs for the 26 LG-Philips panel you mentioned are not identical to the NEC. Differences: contrast, responce, size: 25,5 insted of 26, no mention of A-TW IPS, no %RGB color space, etc. I believe this is a product of a NEC Japan research. They do that every 2-3 years, and they adopt LG-Philips and Samsung panels inbetween, to stay in the market. The BIGGEST asset of the 25.5 inch of NEC is nicely hidden in page13 of the manual. "We don't support interlaced HDCP signals (480i, 576i, 1080i). When using HDCP signals, please don't use interlaced signals". I hope that means it supports 1080p. If you live in Thessaloniki, I'll give you the address of the shop to see the HP30" upclose. For Athens, I don't know. Merry Xmas to you and to everybody in the forum

Unfortunately I live in Athens so I can't visit Matsoukas to see the HP upclose.
You should check out this very informative thread over at hardocp about the 26" NEC.There is also a ghosting test here.
Marry Xmas to all.

Yes, and the option in the OSD to force 1:1 or aspect ratio mode is greyed out and unselectable. This also happens when trying to select 1600x1200 for PC games but at least you can get the video card to scale correctly whereas there is no option to do that on the Xbox 360.

Oh -

I like dual screens, so i am in the process of buying 2x3007WFP (1699,00$ CDN). Currently my monitors are about 2 ft in front of me. Will i get a nice sun tan from those two monsters?

Yeah, I'm a HUGE fan of dual monitors but the 3007WFP is just about the equivalent of two monitors so hopefully I'll be able to tolerate it.

And if not, I guess I'll just have to buy a second one in a few months.

I am fixing to get a Samsung SyncMaster 225BW ,I have a Samsung 204B ,I keep hearing that the wide screen makes gameing more enjoyable ,So I will go from a 17.5 inch monitor to a 19.9 inch monitor,my only worry is that games want support it and how good does it look when running it at 1280x960 ,my Samsung 204B has a native resolution of 1600x1200 but I run it in vga mode and it looks good scale down to 1280x960,I really can not tell no difference in picture quaility from DVI and VGA on my samsung 204B.
