As you can see angle viewing is very good. Comparable to the 2407WFP. The monitor has a very high build quality. Something the the 2407WFP somewhat lacked. Brushed aluminum highlighted by chrome accents and high gloss plastic make for a very attractive exterior.
Image quality is fantastic. Very good color saturation and contrast levels. Again similar to the 2407WFP but without any noticeable banding.

That blows my 2407 right out of the water ! Very nice screen ENU291

Well, thanks to Dell hosting a benchmark competition over at Futuremark, I am now the proud owner of two Dell 30 inch monitors. One is the original 3007FW and the other a 3007FPW-HC.

The color balance on the HC model is definitely a little warmer and more accurate.

Well, I guess to be clear, the prize was a single 3007FPW-HC that is now in addition to the one I already owned. But, still a great prize for getting a decent 06 result.

I made the investment into phase unit ($500) to ensure I got the 30 inch ($1300), so, as I see it, it was $500 30 inch monitor

The second place was a new Dell 27 inch monitor, third place a 24 inch, and then they randomly drew for five 7900GT cards. So, some very nice prizes for running 3DMark06.

Here's a question for you guys with a Westinghouse LVM-37W3. What are the viewing angles like on it while say watching movies? I want to get one to use as a TV with my HTPC in my living room and don't want to have problems with crappy viewing angles.

Just ordered a Dell 2707. Was going to wait till summer before getting one, but the Easter sale + 10% off coupon offer is just too tempting. Only 3 more days left so what the hell ordered one.

Couldn't get it under 1000 USD, but it's damn close, 7,999.20 HKD = 1023.40 USD. Monitor also comes with a free 2.1 subwoofer speaker system as part of the promo. If you're in Hong Kong and want a new 27 inch LCD, don't miss it.
