Your 3DMark06 is crazy for a single 8800 GTX. How did you do it? I know quad core adds more to your score but to get over 15700 you have some crazy OC.

The problems that the 2407WFP exhibited with it's Component connection do not exist with the 2707WFP. The colors were well saturated and vivid while the blacks were deep with very good contrast. At default levels the image looked a bit TO sharp but after lowering the Sharpness level to about 50 (default is 70) the image was very satisfying. The maximum resolution via Component was 1080i. Via VGA I found that the Xbox360 looked very good but the colors are again washed out. This is not a problem with the monitor... it's more a problem with the way the Xbox360 handles a VGA signal. I didn't bother to try and tweak the monitor settings improve the image. The VGA results are similar to what the 2407WFP was capable of. The maximum resolution via VGA was 1920X1080.
If anyone has any questions or comments let me know.
did it run at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 via the 360 VGA cable?

my 360 runs at 1920x1200 on my 2407, so i was curious.

That sharpness thing is 30% down from 50% actually... and there is no issues with the Dell 407WFP A04 or later... I used to have an A02 and go the "combing" lines unless i reduced the sharpness, but now over VGA or component, I get none of that on the A04.

Thanks for pointing that out, bro. That was actually a typo It was suppose to be a 1 instead of a 5. I've since corrected my score on my sig. Thanks again my friend!

Update on my recent 2707 purchase...

First one - a dead blue subpixel near the upper center area and 2 stuck pixels;
Second one - had 8 stuck pixels and some ugly backlight uniformity problem;
Thrid one - kinda DOA'ed. Was able to turn the power on and found 1 stuck pixel, but as soon as I touched the other buttons, two buttons got stuck and short the monitor;
Fourth one - no dead/pixel, no backlight problem, seems to be perfect.

yes, i have to reduce the sharpness on mine to remove the lines.

only happens with the 360, though. the picture over DVI-D is BEAAAUUUTIFULL

i bet a 360 Elite would fix it with its HDMI out. pshh, im not spending $500 though lol.

Yes I am. It's a good monitor, and it serves it's purpose. I may go with something bigger in a few months.....
