Im loving my 3007WFP, got it for under 2k AUD just before Xmas. Will get the newer HC version in a few months I imagine.

On a side note, anyone been able to hook up their xbox360 to the 3007WFP? I know its not easy given the lack of inputs besides the dual link DVI.

You can probably hook up the 360 Elite to it but it will be stuck at 1280x800 resolution.

Yeah I was thinking if I were able to find the right VGA to DVI adapter that could hook up the xbox360's vga cable to the Dell.

720P is not all that bad tho

But I heard the monitor won't scale the image due to lack of scaling chip, so you might end up with a blank image unless the console can upscale the signal to 2560X1600 before outputting.

So looks like there isnt a chance doing it that way.

I guess if you had a really good tv tuner card with inputs you could go that way... not sure how good that would look.
There is converter boxes that can turn digital dvi into vga but they are like $400.. and well sod that.

Ahhh well will just need to get a LCD tv

That looks good DD. I'm actually debating going back to a CRT. I'm getting sick of having to adjust for shadows in FEAR and other games.

Might be selling my Dell I wanted so badly, I'll keep the LG in mind.

Why would you go back to CRT? That's moving backwards (imO)....

Here's a pic of side by side PIP:

One side is the PC and the other side is my PS3.

Only for size and desktop space. I'm tired of fighting and tweaking to make each game look good. And no matter how much I tweak, something just doesn't look right. My old viewsonic has the most vivid, crisp colors and image quality.

you wont either. electromagnetic fields dont affect LCD's as bad as they do CRT's.
