Well, I don't do any driving on mine, but I do just about ALL the flight-sims out there (even as a beta tester for a few of the old greats) and recently mounted my new Dell 2707 on the wall using an articulating wall mount designed for LCD TV's.

I've attached a couple pics for visual reference and will be mounting the keyboard later this week whe the keyboard mount arrives (HOORAY EBAY!)

Retracted (sorry for the awful focus)

Extended (this mount extends up to 22")

Here are a couple images showing the keyboard arm I'm installing as well (it's also fully articulating and can retract to 4" or extend up to 33"

I went from a 20" 4:3 LCD to this huge display and though it looks small in the same room as my 42" plasma, it's incredible for gaming and even after a couple weeks in place, I'm still getting used to it.

Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW-HC ordered. Lets hope it feels like a big enough jump from a 19" fullscreen

I'm planning on buying a 30" 2560x1600 LCD monitor, in about a month.
Does anyone who owns (or has experience using) both a 24" 1920x1200 LCD monitor and a 30" 2560x1600 could provide some feedback/opinion regarding this matter ?

However, I maintain that scaling even 1080p content up to 2,560 x 1,600 is not going to give you the best results. Personally I like to watch my high definition video mapped 1:1 whenever possible, for maximum sharpness and detail.

Despite my reservations about massively scaling video, the HP LP3065 did a pretty good job of playing back 1080p content. Obviously things looked shaper if shown in a window displaying the correct amount of pixels though. Action sequences looked convincing enough, with little evidence of motion smearing at least not enough to be overly distracting.
How bad does 1920x1080 video looks in full screen on a 30" 2560x1600, compared to a 24" 1920x1200 ?
Is it really bad ? Or something that will go unnoticed if you put some more distance between you and the monitors?

Thanks

Now all you have to do is buy a g-15 keyboard and use the LCD panel to display all your Everest temperatures instead of that hideous everest display on the sidebar and taskbar.

Bastard! ...I don't even know why I have the Everest display on there... I haven't played around with my OC since April. It does look like poopy... of course I'm the only one that sees it.

I just got a Samsung 245B TFT yesterday. Its not the best 24 inch as the panel is based on TN film but it was cheap and I am gaming at 1920 x 1200 for the first time. Gaming at this res is a massive step above 1680 x 1050 and 1280 x 1024.

I like it! Although it seems to highlight the jaggies now that everything gets bigger, especially on the X360
