I was looking at getting that Dell 24 LCD screen. But the price is what gets me.

I have however been looking at getting the HP w2408h Black 24

I would like some thoughts on this LCD, it seems to be a good price I have a Dell 2405 at the moment.

It looks pretty slick IMO

looks cool. 16:9 instead of the 16:10 you normally see.

Great if you also had consoles to connect to it.

I don't have any consoles, it would be just for PC gaming. What I don't understand is why it so cheap for a 24 inch LCD

My guess would be they used a cheaper panel. Because it's 16:9 it's actually slightly lower resolution than a typical 24" and other companies sell budget 24" monitors for around that price too. Personally I'd probably wait for a review of it, but I guess somebody has to be first, right?

Why not? The 9800 GX2 has 1GB of VRAM my computer has 4GB total ram. Did you see the video reviews? SlaWter, would you know for the record if this monitor has a glossy screen I can't tell if it does even in the reviews.

I had a single GX2 and AA at high res (1080p or 2560) wasn't really an option. A single GTX 280 handles those situations much better.

No idea about the glossy screen.
I'm sure 512MB can work fine. Each card can uses 512MB of the VRAM and if it needs more it can get it from the same video card. No, glossy screen which is fine from what I researched online.

So you're telling me that a 9800 GX2 is nothing more an 8800 GT slapped togeather which only uses 256MB not even 512MB? How would you justify it's only using 256MB vs. 512MB or even 1GB for that matter. That doesn't even make any since. Or you meant to say it's only going to use 512 of ram off the one card and nothing else can be used then I can understand you're logic.
