Must not be doing another revision since there haven't been a lot of problems so far with this display. It's not perfect but it's the best I've had so far and I've had a good many Dell 20"+ LCDs (2000FP/2001FP/2005FPW/2405FPW).

No way paper towel dude... Those fibers can scratch!

I would use 100% cotton cloth and preferably distilled water.

Sweet lord this thing is huge (2405W). I used the 40% and got it for $808 and geez. I'm going to have to pick up some more games this week

Well, I've done some research, and your talking is somewhat irrelevant.
By the time that HDCP complinat will be widely available and have good specs, a year will pass. And even then, prices will be outrageous I'm sure.

For the time being, this is my answer to Micro$haft: www.gefen.com

Best think IMO to do rightnow is to buy a 2005FPW/2405FPW especially when prices are so low, and enjoy them for a year or even much more with adapters.
They will be the top dogs untill then I think. I'm think i'm getting the deal of my life by getting a 650$ 2405fpw.

I don't intend on getting a newer display until they come out with something in the 30" range. And response times under 8ms for it as well. Until then the 2405FPW will serve just fine.

Not sure why you're holding Microsoft responsible for the DRM when it's really the recording studios who want software and hardware DRM implemented. And you'll have to point out to me which one of Gefen's products will decrypt the HDCP and not just pass it to the receiving end.

None of this would be happening if so many people didn't steal their stuff. I've been bad myself at times and I'm one of those who is willing to admit some responsibility here. This is partly my fault that this is happening. I've cleaned up my act quite a bit over the last year but I'm still not perfect.

I don't blame them one bit for doing any of this. Are they greedy? Maybe. So what. Then don't buy -OR- steal their stuff.

Tell that the people who invested thousands of dollars in their non-HDCP-compliant HDTV-capable displays and projectors. The MPAA are even trying to penalize those who can only accept analog signals for goodness sake. And let's not get started with the digital > CRTs debate again. I can live with other forms of copy protection but not something like this.
