Just ordered a 2005FPW

getting it delivered for under $400 US was to sweet to pass up.Now I just have to hope I can get used to the change from a CRT.

I don't think you'll have too much of a problem...LCDs are amazing.

Man in Hong Kong its still well over US$600 for 20.1" otherwise I would got one already. Anyone coming over from the US to HKG?

They're selling for HK$4,399 which is a bit more over $550.

When you say "all" do you mean all of the ones available only in China? Or do you mean all of them (available anywhere, US, UK, etc) are made in China as well? Have there been quality issues with the 2405W and 2005FPW?

I mean those availabe to Hong Kong are made in and shipped directly from the Dell plant in Xiamen of China. The US ones are porbably made in Mexico, not sure.

I have run into quality issues with Dell displays before. There was a huge scratch on the screen of my first 2005FPW + scraches on the back too. Also experienced problems with a Dell CRT a few years ago, exchanged it 3 times to finally get one without defects.

There is no way I am paying US$150 more in HKG if it can be had for $400 (with rebates) in the US. Man but I want one bad!
