You can get them on sale sometimes for $1599 at BestBuy. I would not suggest getting one via mail order - you want to be able to do a CONVENIENT exchange if necessary with such a large item. Also get the service plan - this only has a one year warranty w/Westinghouse which is unacceptable to me for such an expensive item.

It's technically a monitor. You can hook up a tuner.

Not sure what the 3007FPW is, check out their site. Should be easy/quick to find.

Yes it does. On both inputs AFAIK. No HDMI though. You can use a converter cable if you have a device that wants it.

Decided to go for a Sceptre x20 Naga III 20.1".

http://img358.imageshack.us/img358/1245/desk19ur.jpg (dont make fun of my speaker setup )

Great monitor! I did get a pre-fixed version of this monitor (no issues with refresh rates and stuff that required the firmware upgrade).

This is my first Widescreen LCD (Or LCD really for that matter).

Why argue which ones better when you can just play on all of them?

Excellent. I've been looking at one of their TVs so that was going to be my next question (where you got it from?). Thanks for the info, I'll check the Tiger Direct site to see if they have the Sceptre TV I've been looking at.

Hm, I need your opinon guys.

Im about to order the Dell 26" tv next week what are your thoughts?

My reasons for it even though it dosent have a atsc tuner is

Pros:
-Small and Light ill be moveing soon so that is an issue
-Has tons of inputs
-Backed by dell can return if it just dosent work out

Cons:
-Higher cost than all other 26" tv brands
-No ATSC tuner
-Relatively small for the tv world

If possible, get teh 32".

I've been working over it with the brand manager and its a pretty good set. Much better than the older 30" and its a true 16:9.

The 26" is not bad but there is a replacement model coming out around the time the newer monitors are released (which means anytime from about april through till end of year )

OWA if you're looking at the 37" Sceptre beware there is some sort of judder bug that requires a firmware fix for it. Most of the units out there still have the problem and you end up having to ship it back to the factory. It's not something you can take care of at the house.

I was looking at the 42". Is it a problem with all of them or was it just the 37".

Speaking of 37 inchers though, does your Westinghouse sometimes make a buzzing noise? Earlier this evening I was watching a DVD when I noticed a buzzing noise when I held my head a certain way (closer to the wall so I guess I was getting the noise bouncing off the wall or something). Once I tracked it down, it was coming from the back of the Westy (like the internals were buzzing). It didn't go away after turning it off and turning it back on so I just started wearing headphones. I checked it again just now, and it's almost completely silent again like it has been since I got it. That has me a little worried though.
