Default Re: NVNews Widescreen LCD Club (formally DELL thread)

Many people have said many things about the LCD's quality. But how is the quality of entry level LCD's. I'm talking like really cheap-cheap LCDs. Almost no-name brand. How is the view on those screens if watched from an angle? The LCD I'm refering to would be for office use only.

It's DXTweaker but I was just reading in that thread that it may not work with SLI. I haven't tested it myself so I'm not sure.

Sure are. Most have DVI inputs on them so you should be able to plug your video card into it and go.

I just hooked my Xbox 360 to my 2005FPW, and it sure looks a lot better than the TV we have downstairs Soon as I get my speakers back, I'll have an awesome little media center to switch back and forth between the 360 and my PC. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Sure, many HDTV LCDs actually have standard DVI or VGA ports to use.

I am using a sweet 26" widescreen as my monitor.

This time the higher price is 2-DAYS SPECIALS (Sunday and Monday only)

Walmart has the same monitor listed at every day low price $1,488.00
plus $67.48 Shipping (Free shippings to Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, Stores)
Hope BestBuy will much the price soon and also hope BestBuy Canada will start selling this monitor.

Anyway AVS FORUM has over 1300 post long tread about Westinghouse LVM-37w3 37
I would recommend to everybody about to buy the above model to read few post in this tread maybe starting at about page 40, no need to read the whole tread to get some idea about the problem..
Basically it is about "1080i deinterlacing (motion blur) problem"
There are some conflicting reports in the tread (maybe just hope) that new 1.5 firmware might fix the problem.
Some posters in that tread already have the set with new firmware but as of today nobody confirmed that the ghosting problem is resolved.
