Version 0702 2006/02/08 update
Description A8N-VM CSM Release BIOS 0702
Update nVidia RAID ROM
Fix after resume from S1 would got black screen.
If PCIEX1 LAN Card installed on PCIEX16 slot,the system can not power on.
Single/Dual Channel DRAM mode and Unbuffered/ECC DIMM(s) information should be post under DRAM clocking.
Patch Matrox PHE128APV PCIE CARD File Size 478.18 (KBytes)

I sent bugreport to tsddepartment@asus.com.tw again. Hope this time will be lucky with my complain.

ASUS have a new BIOS release for A8N VM (CS) MBs.

version 0902

No change log list at there website.....Unprofessional

Planning to get this Motherboard if the new Bios works
for Linux ACPI..issues

Yes it is. But it is only for Asus A8N-VM. NOT for CSM.

The CSM and non-CSM share the same BIOS AFAIK. No clue why Asus only put this in the non-CSM download area...

Not the same. Different northbridge, southbridge and other chips.

If someone will use 0902 bios let us know if ACPI bug was fixed. I hope CSM version will come soon for my mobo.

FYI, 0901 fixes the ACPI problem and the dim S-Video (voltage too low) issue, so the Asus board is finally at the same state as the MSI board:
