Adding to my previous post:
ASUS 6800 Ultra 425/1100, 3.2E Prescott s478: (1171/1041/959) 2703 441/1100, 3.2E Prescott s478: (1199/1066/959) 2756 The 16 MHz o/c is not worth the effort for a measly 53 points. Plus autodetect gives me 455/1160, but in the benchmark it gives artifacts.(i.e. random white pixel blocks). Apart from F.E.A.R. that I can't play with antialiasing, I don't really see any reason to upgrade for the next 6-8 months (until Conroe arrives, except if Oblivion is unplayable at 1280x1024). |

I get about 2500 3DMark points with my 6800GT (@ 400/1.18GHz) and A64 3700 (@2.6GHz) with a gig of ram. I'm now praying for a 7800GS AGP!!!
![]() I thought this new benchmark was kind of a let down. That new graphics test (the one in the snow) seemed more like a tech demo than a game, didn't it? |

Well, I really don't pay much attention to the actual performance of the various parts since they don't exactly reflect current real-world games. I just like to watch them for the eye candy experience. My 6800GT works just great in current games, and by the time games with the detail of 3DMark tests arrive, I'll have long since bought a new card (and system).
