Default Re: 3DMark06 Benchmark Results

ROFL, I just tried to run 3DM06 on a X2 3800+ with integrated 6150 graphics.

SM2 = 99
SM3 = N/A
CPU = 1502

for a grand total of..... 217!!!

The 6150 is not as bad as their results suggest. I'm assuming the N/A on SM3 is the reason for the ridicuously low score.

After installing the WHQL 6.2 my card's temps ramped up quicker and higher, 3Dmark06 went down to 5300 points

Reinstalled the 6.2 beta's ; temps are healthy again at full load <70 and scores
6001 points

3DMark2006 = 5791 marks
SM2.0 Score = 3147
HDR/SM3.0 Score = 3114
CPU Score = 936

SM2.0 & SM3.0 are not so bad, but... Geeehh ... single core CPUs suck BIG TIME
Can't wait until my new 4800+ X2, OCZ 2x1GB EB PLatinum DDR500 and DFI mobo UT SLI DR Xpert arrives, so I can stably overclock the CPU to 2,6Ghz (FX-60's stock speed for 630$) and overclock the RAM to DDR530Mhz.
Will hopefully get 7000 marks maintaining stock GPU's clocks, and then, will start to overclock my two 7800GTX 256MB

I could be wrong here, but I think everyone else is running the test at the default 1280x1024 resolution, your results show 1024x768 as the tested resolution.

I'm still kicking around replacing my current mobo with something that has beeter X2 support (haven't read many good things about this chipset and dual cores). When that happends SLI won't be far behind for me, but until then this seems typical of a stock clocked set up like mine...
