Not a standard resolution but... tried to push my new GX2, hehehe.

Sorry about the pic quality.

16x12 No AA 16xAF

Standard 3dmark06 resolution... I'm a little worried here, doesn't seem to be in line with other GX2 results... This is what a single 7900GTX will get.

Currently this is where I am at. I doubt things will improve much because the 7950 GX2 will not do better than 603|800.

Ram timings 3-3-3-10 1:1. Very close to a 3k CPU score and will likely update for that.

I really wish I could do over 700 on the 7950 GX2 core.

That's one of the highest overclocks i've seen.

I guess having a single core CPU is holding back my result , (I wonder when 3Dmark will be purely a GPU bound benchmark) plus I have not done any oclockin' yet. I'm getting a X2 4800 ASAP.

There's a guy over here that has one @ 725 on the core:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=88168

Yes single core CPUs greatly reduce 3dmark06.

A great value right now with awesome overclocking is a 965 board and a E6400. I am seeing folks @ the XS forums pass up or equal E6600s and E6700s on air. The 965 has higher latency that allows for higher FSB and the 2MB chips seem to be easier to get up high on air. If you are on water or phase you may do better with an E6600. Again if you are an overclocker and primarily just game, get an E6400|965 set up for value and performance.

Beware folks showing massive OCs with ES chips, they are not retail!
