I used the same heatsink with the venice "xp-90", my temps on the Opteron are 36-37 idle and 53 after a couple hours of Prime95, two instances running in-place largeFFTs.
EDIT: I initially test for 2 hours then overnight when it's convenient. The overnight temp was the same.

My GTS is 600core 800mem.

My venice and opteron scores:

Venice

Opteron

FINALLY topped 10,000! Just downloaded ATITool 0.27 and bumped my GTS up to 610/900. I had been sitting right at 9,000 w/o the gpu oc. Now to put the E6600 back to 3.6, and see where the 8800GTS caps out.

I just got an XFX 8800 GTX and I get 6312 on an AMD 3800+ (single core)

and 2Gb Ram.

Is that normal?

As you can see in my above post, I got 6444 with an 8800GTS on an athlon 64 Venice "single core" cpu running at 2500MHz.

Sounds pretty normal. You're cpu limited at the 1280x1024 res. I bet you'd get the same score if you raised it to 1600x1200 with 4xaa.
