^^ What he said. In spring and fall the computer room is typically 21 Celsius which is indeed about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. In mid summer I keep it about 75 degrees which will impact the coolers performance by a few C.

With all the 8800 Ultra stuff floating around I decided to run this benchmark with the cards clocked at 625/2100(1050). This is on a QX6700@3.3Ghz running on XP Pro and default image settings with air-cooling.

You would if you OC the GTX8800 to something like 660/1040. Also, make sure in your Nvidia drivers you have all details set to PREFORMANCE so no AA or AF enabled for example. You need "jagaddies" showing in that rotating Nvidia logo when testing kuzz if you have it set to mid or high details that'll bias the benchmark against you.

Unfortunately I don't have a Quad core yet however I decided to go back and try 06 again under XP with my C2D @ 3.75GHz. With the graphics card bumped up to 675|2054 I am turning in 13360.

Darn... that's badass, the only way I can reproduce that value is by setting IQ to the absolute zero and a resolution of 200x200 or something lol

Currently doing about 12600, probably more in there if I give my cpu some more juice and vidcard, but I'm not complaining, most people don't have a 8800

It's a high-end chip so it probably can take a punch or two.
