I lose about 7% in performance In Vista compared to XP running in SLI with the latest driver for Vista so I was just curious.

I have yet to see 60C load doing anything. Usually I am 55-57C load.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835109136

I stuck a panaflo H1A fan on the above heatsink and run it at medium settings. If I wanted to Vmod my card I could go further. It freezes at 690 on the core and certainly not because of heat.

There's an hour of the rthdribl demo full screen @ 675 core-

I tried 690 on the core from a cold boot. Doing the rthdribl demo it was running fine for a while then locked up. When it froze it was @ only 53C. So I am fairly sure I need more voltage.

Im running a e6600 @ 3024mhz now

Just got halfway done with overclocking.
More tomorrow.
I want to push it to 3600mhz

Anyways, score is 11048, everything @ default
Through nTune, everything is either off, or VERY low. So its not a biased test.

I'm getting happier with this cpu now!

Well, I'll be home for the summer tomorrow (and then a week @ the beach.) after that, I'll spend probably a week optimizing my system's overclock. Right now, I've gotten it to about 3.2 Ghz 24/7 stable, but I'm sure with the TEC, I can push it a good bit further (3.2Ghz @ 1.3v isn't much at all)

right now, I'm up to 12.3k, but I'm sure I can get it up to 12.6 or possibly 13 on this processor. We'll see what happens.
