Thanks. I was planning to buy an eVGA GTX 512 if I could ever find one. But of course now I'd like to hear something about the 7900 first.

My first run, using the 81.98 drivers, cards stock, cpu at 2.7ghz = 8814

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=1736

Edit: Some additional comments. It looks really nice but I wish they would have come up with all new game tests. On the first two, if I wasn't paying close attention, I'd think I was running 3DMark05. Anyway, the Canyon one looks really good but I probably like the artic (deep freeze) one the most. Very realistic looking especially looking into the sun. Probably the first time I've seen looking into the sun look pretty realistic. Oh, the CPU test is very painful to watch.

Edit 2: 2nd Run, did all the tests this time = 8823

Short version, it got spanked.

Wow, I can't download this thing to save my life. They are getting hammered.

1384 on my workstation rig.

Quadro 1400, dual Opteron 246's, 1GB ECC Ram.

Ehhh. Does that seem low, even for a workstation card?

Remember guys, if ATI is faster, then 06 is the bestest benchmark EVAR! If NV is faster, it's not a valid benchmark and NV is cheating.

That's my SSXeon forecast for today.
