Okay... i was close to 16K and it was staring at me.

So.... i upped the fans, set the CPU ro 3.6G, GPU to 780/2000/2200 (core/shaders/mem) and went for it....

Might try for 16.5K ... just need to get the core up to 800.

GPU 800/2050/2200 .... noticed that the core clock means nothing if you cannot push the shaders.... probably why they are linked....

CPU... cannot get past 3.6G stable.... poor memory letting me down went for these... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...-086-OC&tool=3... and they wont go past 400 for anything, unless i up to volts to crazy levels.... just not worth it. should have gone for some 8500 units, but there are lot more bucks.... oh well

Anyway... back down to CPU 3.2G, GPU 720/1800/2000 ... still crushes all games....

Gainward BLISS 8800GTS.
Think there is more left in it, but pretty pointless if i cannot get the CPU past 3.6G.
As i said .... eats all games for breakfast.... and its nice and cool and quiet.
Will post a pic in the 2008 rigs section when i can find my camera....

Nice. How does it react when you serve Crysis for breakfast?

Not really played Crysis much.... tried the demo.... but waiting for the first patch before buying.... besides, there is so much else to catch up on ( Orange box/stalker/oblivion/COD4/Qwars/witcher/silent hunter 4 etc ).
When i did try the demo, i ran it at 1600x1200 with a very high carvs pack ( this one http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...postcount=2957 ) and it never dropped below 25 fps... looked absolutely stunning.
Might consider running a Crysis bench on it.... what are the standard settings ?

Assuming it's DX9 mode, pretty good. If it's DX10, I'd say it's great.

I don't understand your cpu scores..or maybe I just don't get how they work.

1.954 and 2.874 FPS? LoL, what do you need to hit 5 fps?
