I'm still getting very low scores with Vista. XP (before I uninstalled it) was over 3000 marks higher. Yet gaming performance wasn't that much different.

-Vista-64 is really hurting your score,
-are you overclocking the GPU or CPU?

Only reason i installed vista 64bit is for directx10 as i use linux as my primary OS.

The benchmark score between XP 32bit vs Vista 64bit are +/- ~200points so its not all that different. Im just wondering if there are any tweaks i can do to improve the score?

Im going to OC the GPU later on today (after school) and bump up the stock fan to 50-60%.

Will adjusting the memory timming in the BIOS help at all with performance? It is currently at auto setting.
Im also going to be installing Vista SP1 RC

I wouldn't bother with the timings, little gain.

OCing the GPU&CPU could get you 2 - 3k higher score.

My score in some games was down about 20% with Vista 64.

Hmm thats not good news
I`ll test out GoW with vista 64, and see how the fps are, i remember in XP they were hovering around 65-75 (vsync on) but i wasnt sure if i was forcing AA through nhancer or not, hence why i installed vista.

Will report later on, with the new benchmark, and the fps in GoW.

Again, thanks alot for the help.
