My score @1920x1200, 8xAA, 16xAF (didn't bother with default because CPU limited):

What do you get with 8AA and 16AF maxed @1920x?

I tested CPU at 3.6 and 3.8, and the difference is less than 200 points @ my native res with AA and AF maxed. At defualt 3.8 gives nearly a 1K boost to the overall score.

9450 on an evga 8800GTS 512 running stock @ 678/1944 with Athlon X2 5000+, 4GB Kingston ValueRAM DDR2 800 under Vista SP1 with 174.74 Betas. No overclocking.

VERY unhappy, my CPU is a bottleneck, which is nuts. Just bought an Athlon X2 6400+ to hopefully break 11000 at which point I'll be happy.

It's not my RAM (I don't believe in gamer RAM), but my CPU. ORB shows 9600 as top scores with CPU in my range, even for folks running their GPUs at 720.

So the moral of the story is an AMD X2 5000+ @ stock cannot drive an 8800GTS G92 properly!! The graphic only scores should be over 5000, but they are under it. Since I need to use 1920x1200 at all times, that is unacceptable. Although I do find it amusing that my score drops only 700 points when switching between 1280x1024 and 1920x1200.

I'd have a Core 2 Duo, but hey, I got the computer for free.

Grats on the new rig, bud. These GX2's are CPU limited at low res's. If you run a test at your max res I bet you lose almost no points. Give it a go and post back. Also, some pics would be nice in the 'Post your rig' thread
