Default Segmentation fault on FC5T2

Upgraded from FC5T1 to Fedora Core 5 Test 2. Now all my GL games are crashing with a Segmentation fault. It MAY have something to do with libGL.so.* since that's the last output on the command-line prior to crashing. Then again, it may not.

Known issue? Any help debugging/troubleshooting?

Update: The issue has actually been resolved. See my last post for an explanation.

Forgot to add that it's on an x86_64/emt64 platform. NVidia GeForce 6600.

Which games are crashing?
Does glxgears run?
What is the output from glxinfo?
Also, please generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log.

Games crashing: Neverwinter Nights, Enemy Territory, Army Op, Lugaru, Quake 4, Coldwar, etc.

I had to compile glxgears and glxinfo from source since they're missing in FC5. Here's the output. My apologies for the long post. glxgears and glxinfo actually worked:

I just realized that glxinfo and glxgears were linked against the x86_64 native libraries and no the 32-bit compatibility libraries like the games are. I'll try to figure out how to link the programs against the 32-bit versions of the library and make a follow-up post.

Agh! My apologies again. It seems the 8178 drivers actually do work on Fedora Core 5 Test 2, even with the 32-bit compatibility libs. It turns out the culprit was a patch I applied from this thread which was purportedly a fix for gcc4.1 systems.
