Hi. I've been running NVidia Home Cinema series FX5200 in XP with no problems. Then I installed a Linux distro on the same pc (CaixaMagica, the Linux Portuguese distro, based on SuSE philosophy), and suceeded on installing the Linux driver in NVidia homepage, so graphically so far so good. My problem is, when trying to use XawTV and other 2 or 3 linux programs to watch TV, I don't get signal and cannot therefore scan cable channels. But, I repeat, I can do that on the same pc with Windows XP. Can somebody please help with this?

The linux drivers don't provide support for tvin, so you can't use your card to watch tv on linux (yet).

Ok, thanks, that why, then. Do you know what graphic cards or usb devices (eg like the hauppauge adapter or similar) allow watching tv on linux?
