I try to instal 6600gt on a Sarge Debian
Hi, im french so if u can excuse my english
 I have an 6600gt Leadtek, and i try to install a Sarge version of debian, with the commande line : linux26 at boot to install with the 2.6 version of Kernel. But... Impossible to have a graphic environnement, can't Dl the Kernel-headers-2.6.8, i try too with an Gigabytes GeForce 3 Ti 200..same result. With nv in XFree86 its hang. With vesa in XFree86 its hang. With nvidia its the same ( hang).. Somebody as know what i need to do, with a step by step how to please, im more bad in linux compared to my english  |
