Hi,
Mazikowski, you obviously did not read the README (it is called that way for a reason).

In the readme it is descripted, what you have to change (replacing 'vesa' with 'nvidia' should be enough, for the begining).

You need to generate and provide a bug report that captures the problem you're having. Posting a bug report against the vesa driver tells us nothing about the problem you're experiencing.

Hi,

yeah, and best, do it, after X did not start up. That way there will be a log, where the error should show up

X does not need to be running to generate the bug report. Do not generate the bug report while you're using the vesa driver.

I have upgraded to FC4 as suggested earlier, I tried both the service *dm stop and the init 3 commands but neither would stop x for me. init 3 just starts to work but then stops on starting anacron(i think) [OK] and does nothing after that.

should I be doing something else or what?

anacron is the last process in the runlevel. Hit enter, and you'll have a bash prompt.
