Default Will this bug be fixed in the next release?

I'm hoping that my bug of AGP 8x on via kt600 will be fixed in the next release (I have to patch file to work in 4x mode)

Specifically which bug are you referring to? Do you have a bug number?

Thanks,
Lonni

I've done a workaround but this is far from a fix

@Cimi: since you observed the problem with both the Linux AGPGART driver and NvAGP, and since the problem went away by throttling the AGP rate, there's nothing to suggest that this is a NVIDIA driver bug. It seems more likely that there is a hardware problem (e.g. a problem with the AGP signals' integrity).

Could you tell me why under windows I had no crashes?

@Cimi: I can only speculate, but it's possible that the AGP GART driver provided by Via helps.
