Default 128MB GEFORCE 6600GT x2 (SLI) with kanotix

I have searched the online documentation and this forum for info, but to no avail.
If I get 2x 128MB GEFORCE 6600GT cards (SLI) in my new computer will they operate under linux (Kanotix) as well as WinXP.
I want my new computer Windows free, so there doesn't seem to be any point buying them if they won't work with linux.
I heard on other forums that only some of the more expensive cards work on linux in SLI mode.
Thank you

NVIDIA SLI enabled; using auto-selected rendering method.
I've 2 6600GTs

you see, it works!
