6600GT problem ??
hi , ist post
Ive had to upgrade my geforce4 mx440 to 6600GT ok i also had to fit new power supply to run the card (500w)
My son is trying to play the new battle for middle earth 2 ,after approx 30 min the game slows up. I closed the game and rebooted machine .i got an nivda error message stating the card isnt getting enough power and has lowered itsperformance to allow safe performance ??
i installed the new drivers from nivda site ..
Should i uninstall the drivers and install the drivers that came with the card
Or could it be a faulty card ??
Thanks for any replies Biffo uk

Re: 6600GT problem ??
The 6600GT AGP has a power connector on the end of the card inside the computer.
You attach a power lead from your power supply to this connector.
This probably will solve your problem.
(Make sure your computer is turned off before you do this though...)
Let us know if this does not solve your problem.
