Hi All,
This is going to sound stupid, but I have got up to Here in my task for installing the drivers. but when I do the sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8178-pkg1.run command it complains that "command not found" I did a ls -l to check the attributs of the file, and noted that there was no execute on it so I did a chmod 777 *.run and tried it again to same result. I even tried running it as root. One thing that may or may not have any effect on it at this point is that when I installed the box, I was not going to run X on it, but have now changed my mind and am in the process of installing MythTv, and need to get X running. BTW I have already done a apt-get dist-upgrade on the box, do am running the latest patches and updates. Thanks Neil |

I must be too tired at the monent, as I cant see anything from the link that you posted that can help.
I have done a search (the horible thing that it is) and have browsed back a couple of months in posts (not reading each one, just looking at the subjects.) Neil |
