What fps increase I can expect in games running from 2x512Mb 333Mhz CL 2.5(not dual channel memory) to 2x512Mb 400Mhz CL 2.0(dual channel memory) on mine Athlon 64 X2 3800+? Thanks in advanced.

Not much. Maybe 1-2, 5 tops.
2x1 GB CL3 PC3200 would be better for you in the long run. |

yea, i wouldnt worry about speed. id upgrade to 2GB. it should become standard i would say within a year or two. (still have a while)
however, i must say, with an X2 and 2GB, performance is incredible. |

If your not intending to overclock .... Corsair Twinx2048-3200C2(2-3-3-6) are the way to go, and will be faster with the better timings.
What I am using right now, can't fault it whatsoever for stability. Can even tighten them timings more so i've discovered.
