Default Mplayer with a 16:10 display

When I try to fullscreen a video with Mplayer on my 16:10 display it treats the image as though it screen was 4:3 and stretches the image. Xine on the other hand has no problem, anyone have any ideas?

either run it with the option '-monitoraspect 1.6',
or put this line into either ~/.mplayer/config or /etc/mplayer.conf (depending on whether you want it to apply for all users):

'monitoraspect=16:10'

Works great on my Dell 2005FPW (1680x1050)
