Default 4400+ stock cooler?

Just recieved my X2 4400+ today and will install it when I get home tonight. My question is, as the stock cooler that came with it is a heatpipe cooler, how good is it. I am currently using the ThermalTake Polo 735 (see pic below), which works well and the fan is always on low (bios reading of 2000rpm) just looking for advice on which to use with the 4400+

Thanks in advance

I think its great,I am using one to oc my X2,if I had better ram,2.6 would be very much in reach with this chip.

Thanks for the replies, I am now going to install the cpu and windows, think I'll stick with the TT cooler for the mo

**Update**

Have yet to do much testing, just 3DMark06.....just from a cpu change from a A64 3200+ @2.4 to an A64 X2 4400+@2.6 I've gone from 5614 to a whopping 7301

Either one will do the job just fine,Its hard to believe that AMD put in a nice heatsink and fan with there X2 and Opteron dual CPU,but it does a real good job of keeping the CPU running cool even when overclocked.

I also have the same question.
With my Athlon64 3500+ (temp 40C when idle) I'm currently using this cpu cooler
Cooler Master Ultra Vortex KCC-V91
http://www.coolermaster.com/index.ph...Ultra%20Vortex

Yesterday I ran the 3Dmark06 SM2.0 Graphic Test #1 "Return to Proxycon" in loop for 25minutes straight, 4xAA, 16xAF, 1920x1440, and my Athlon64 3500+ was reaching 58C-59C. And it was at stock MHz and voltage. No overclock. The room air conditioner was turned off. Perhaps 29C room temp.

In 2 days I'll be assembling my new Athlon64 X2 4800+.
I'm planning to overclock it to 2600MHz (237x11), or even 2695MHz(245x11), if possible.
Shall I use the X2 4800+ stock cpu cooler or shall I continue to use the Cooler Master Ultra Vortex KCC-V91 ??

The users here in the forum that are using an X2 4800+ (or an X2 4400+) with its stock cooler, could you guys run the 3Dmark06 SM2.0 Graphic Test #1 "Return to Proxycon" in loop for 25minutes straight, 4xAA, 16xAF, full resolution, and post here your cpu temperature results, cpu voltage, and cpu MHz, please?

Thanks in advance
