Why isn't the NVnews logo green? - Page 4

the logo just isn't practical to implement with the current color scheme it employs. although it does more readily match the colors used by NVIDIA Corporation itself. as for blue being soothing, i think most people would agree that green is more soothing (my two cents.)

I probably haven't been here long enough though.

As for the logo by keith it looks great. It would be nice if nvidia let us keep the swirl.

Why not setup a pre-order thinger so we can order our shirts

Different color options (i.e. burnt orange with the nvidia logo for the longhorns

) and stuff.

Support the site, buy t-shirts and stuff.

Saz you'd have me in court for copyright infringement for sure.

Different color options add up to more expense. The ones I got the staff last time cost me over $500.00. The site has some money to order t-shirts but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I will check into it this week. I was going to pay for the t-shirts but charge for shipping and handling to our members. With long time members having first priority.

Depending on the response we get from members wanting one.

I'd like to second the anti-notch sentiment. It is, in my opinion, a distraction. (I preferred the logo prior to the present jaggy blue swirl, too.) This thing is very slick aside from that little gimmick.
