Well I'm absolutely shocked. This game runs pretty damn good on my 6800GT / Xeons setup. The launcher setup program setup my machine for High Quality as the default settings, and the game runs smoothly at 1680x1050 widescreen w. no AA and HDR turned off. Check windows taskman, its shows that all four CPU threads are being used.
Does anyone know if there is a built in frame counter for the game? Right now it feels about 25-30 FPS, but I would like to get a more accurate number for benchmarking. |

<PROPERTY Label="multichip_rendering_mode" Value="1"/> or the pre-existing profile entry might look like this: <PROPERTY Label="multichip_rendering_mode" Value="0x00000001" Itemtype="predefined"/> Both of those are AFR. If you had a pre-existing profile, you're probably already using AFR. |

Just installed FRAPs. Using the default High Quality autodetect with HDR off at 1680 x 1050, I average about 40-45 FPS indoors, and low 20's - high 20's outdoors. Like I said, I am very pleasantly surprised.
I have AA and AF set to application preference under my NV Control panel, and VSynch turned off within the game. My rig has Dual Hyperthreaded ES Prestonia based 3.4Ghz Xeons with 2 gigs of Corsair TwinX and a 6800GT. |

Strange, it sounds like people with 6800GTs are much happier with their overall performance than people with x1900s or 7 series cards

Probably because they were like me and were expecting a total slideshow
![]() Performance aside - this looks like it going to be a fun game. I really like how they streamlined the interface over Morrowind. Seems to be alot more user friendly. |
