Anyone know how to reset the mod's or force them on through console? I have some that only take effect when a new game is started and well... I don't want to start all over.

o_o?
u mean like oscurus oblivion overhaul or w/e its called? ive never ran into any mods like that, but i got a horse armor mod for my.... horse armor mod which turned the steel armor into a really cool dark hand armor thing and at first it didnt work but after i restarted my computer after installing something it worked o_o, or it mightve been the fact that i saved a new save and then closed the game, installed something, restarted and then loaded that new save, im not sure o_o, hopefully one of the more "gifted" tweakers/moders will pick it up and figure it out for u

The time scale is saved in your saved game. Try 'set timescale to 1' in the console and then re-save your game. You don't even need a mod for this.

P.S. Slowing down time messes up the grass swaying, water ripple movement, and tree canopy shadow movement.

copy the .esp file to your Oblivion\Data directory, then in the game launcher click "data files" and then check it in the list. When you play, itl be working. Have fun

Hi all,

there is one more tweak in Oblivion's ini file, which reduces stuttering during background LOD load for me.

You can find it in section [BackgroundLoad], values iBackgroundLoadExtraMilliseconds and
iBackgroundLoadMilliseconds. Set them to some small numbers, such as 1.

The game is much smoother during loading of LOD now.

Maybe this is well known tweak, I don't know. I found it in some ini file posted on inet.

Enjoy,
jikad

87.25 on my 6800 Go (NV42, like your GS). I haven't noticed a difference between any of the drivers though.
