I havent really done much outside of just try to compile all the information others have found or stumbled across, hehe. but thanks =)
It's just so muche asier for everyone if all info out there tweak fix performance wise is compiled into a single source so they can browse through for their own usage. Even if its for or against using certain tweaks.

This is interesting:
http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/i...owtopic=283055 Damn work! I'll have to wait till later to test this out myself. I dont think the screenshots look too hot (grass wise) but with some tweaking, he may be on the right track. Longer grass draw distance + more fps doesnt sound bad to me ![]()

Try yourself. Just to the left of the ruins right across the pier when you come out of the sewer. It messes up other places too, but you can always test there. |

Clay I cannot believe you are getting 42 FPS with those values.
Wit values of 50/30/7 for those 3 ini entries I average at 20 FPS, with the same type of machine. Nice examples nonetheless! |

I hope this isn't old news to you guys, but I just found this at the elder scrolls forums:
http://ideveloper.pandora-studios.co...tingsGuide.txt It seems to have a lot of info that has been mentioned here, plus some extra stuff all in one nice doc. The one thing I saw on that page which I need to try tonight is setting the iFPSClamp in the ini which allegedly caps the framerate. I think that would help with the percieved jumpiness going from 20 fps to 60 fps. |
