I finally got the new drivers working, only I have vertical bad lines in my screen (approx. 1 cm apart). It means that if you have a page full of text, some letters are very blurry, and others are perfect. You can see this phenomena when you start the PC, and the X-screens appears (the grey one). It should be equal eveywhere. Well, you can see the bars of bad, blurry lines, like you are sitting in a prison.
Does anyone know what the problem can be? Hardware: Compaq Evo Workstation (P4 1.6 GHz, 384 Mb, 10 GB, GeForce MX 440 card and Compaq TFT5004 tft monitor). Thanks for the help. Haik |

Try setting your refresh rate to 60Hz in your XF86Config file. Most LCD screens will display vertical line ghosting if that rate is any higher than 60Hz.
