Default F.E.A.R. again...

So ya .. I finally broke down last week and decided to get the game and give it a go. I heard so many good things and had enough time this week inbetween class and work to play it enjoyably (for 2 hours at a time or so). I finally got around to beating it today. I must say... it is one of the best single player games I have played. Half the time I lose interest in a game and will just beat it to be done, but this game honestly kept me interested the whole time and I looked forward to every minute I got to spend playing this game through. The graphics and sound were sweet but the story was very interesting all the way through the game and at the end. I will defenetly play this game through one more time and soak up every little detail I can. For once the ratings were right... great game!

Ahhhh NOW YOUR TALKING!

I wonder if they can move hit detection forward again, sick as it sounds, its great actually feeling like your hitting a target rather than busting a clay block... ala Quake and Doom 3.

A few years ago, Raven said they currently had no plans for SOF3, which kinda sucks.

I really would love to see Ghoul 3 at work

Except the boring level design. If you ask me, there are 4 levels in the game, the industrial warehouse area, the office, the old apartments, and the the underground area. While I thought it was a good game, thelevels are just utterly repetative at times.

Exactly. It was just hallway after hallway. The office part had more backdoors and backways than I don't know what. Good game though.

I can't really agree with that sentiment. I don't think the environments were the killer. Yes, there were plenty of offices, but it made sense...

My biggest problem was around the second quarter of the game, they really slacked off on introducing any new enemies. There was fun combat to be had, but you'd seen it all before. To me, at least, that was a much bigger problem than non varied environments...

Oh well, anyway, I'll probably play it again when I buy a new computer The combat was kickass.
