Question 8756 and MPEG4 Decoding

Hi,

Although not listed as a new feature, I just thought I'd ask whether the new release support MPEG4 decoding like the beta Windows drivers.

If anybody tried it, please let us know.
And if it is not, can an NVIDIA representative let us know when we can expect it?

Thanks.

However XvMC has interface for mpeg4 the nvidia driver does not provide hardware decoding. Only cheap integrated graphics in Via chipsets can do this using binary driver. Open source driver with mpeg4 hw decoding is under progress for Via chips.
